Maybelline Color Tattoo By eyestudio

So, these are the potted eyeshadow Maybelline came out with.  There are 10 colors and these are the 4 I bought.  If you have ever or never tried to M.A.C. paint pots these are compared to them.  I have been playing with them for a few weeks and just wanted to share my thoughts.
Top left is (Bold Gold) to the right of it is (Tenacious Teal) the bottom left is (Fierce & Tangy) and the bottom right is (Painted Purple)
There are pro's and con's to these eye shadows depending on your expectations of them.  The con's....I expected these colors to be more vibrant and that's not what I got from them.  Other than that the pro's are....they are long lasting and smudge proof.  They work awesome as a base to eye shadows, they do not crease which makes them really awesome in that sense.  If you are a person who loves color but is afraid or likes subtley.  Then these are for you.  At this time, I don't think Ill be getting any other ones but  ill have fun playing with the 4 Ive got....:-)  Ill keep you guys posted if I get new ones and below is a picture of Fierce and Tangy with Swiss chocolate M.A.C. eyeshadow in the crease.

Lets talk about Skincare 1st

Hello everyone!  Hope your New Years is going well.  I know allot of people are doing New Years resolution so I'm hoping you may want to add just one more to your list.  SKIN CARE ROUTINE!!!

I come across so many people who does not have a skincare routine but wants to have flawless makeup.  My thing is, if you are not taking good care of your skin.  It will be very difficult to achieve the look you want.

If you are washing your face with Soap......STOP!  If you are only washing your face with Water....STOP!  Soap is for the Body only.  Not your face.  Washing your face with soap can age your 5-7 years.  (GASP)

No matter what age you are.  It is essential to have a skincare routine.  We are aging daily and taking care of your skin is like taking care of your teeth, hair, nails, ect.

Whether your in your 20's 30's 40's ect.  There are skin care products for you.  Depending you what skin care concerns you have you can pretty much find a routine that works for you!

The categories are:
Acne
Oily
Combination Oily
Normal
Dry
Combination Dry

Find where you are and go from there.  Me myself, I'm a Oily girl so I pick my skin care accordingly.

Now the Big question is What products or what brand do I use?  That also depends on your budget.  You have to do a little research to find what works for you!  I can tell you the products I use and have used but what works for me may not work for you.  So I hope this helps.

Makeup Remover:
Eyes: Mary Kay eye makeup remover (love)

Face: Makeup remover wipes (I,v tried, the Target Up brand and E.L.F.) (love)

Cleanser:
Currently I'm using Benifit Foamingly clean facial wash (love)

Toner:
Currently using T. N. Dickinson's witch Hazel as my toner (love)

Moisturiser:
Currently using Yes to carrots  moisturiser with SPF15 and yes to carrots nourishing repairing night cream.  So far its o.k. but ill keep you posted when I run out and try something new.

Usually I incorporate a serum for ant aging or to even out skin tone but I'm still on the hunt for that and a good eye cream as well.  When I find it I will keep you guys posted.

But for the bare minimum your should always cleanse, tone and moisturise twice daily.  In future posts I will detail on more but if you are just starting out this is what essential....(to me) :-)  I hope this helped, if you have any questions or concerns send me a message.  TTYS (Talk. To. You. Soon_
