My skin care routine

Hi beauties. I've just started using a new Skincare line and wanted to share. Recently I received the 3 step cleansing system from clinique and I so far I'm in love.
Night time
I'll start with what I do at night. Usually I'm taking off makeup so the first thing I do is use the Neutogena facial wipes to remove all of the visible makeup. Next I start my cleansing routine. If you do nothing else you should always Cleanse, Tone, Treat, and Moisturize

Cleanse

As you can see I use a Clarisonic. The Clarisonic cleanses 10X better than your fingers so what ever cleanser your using will just cleanse that much better.
I chose to use the Phylosophy Purity made simple at night because it removes makeup. That's a quality all cleansers do not have.

Tone
This is the Toner that comes with the clinique 3 step system. I usually use T.N.Dickinsons witch hazel as a toner but I like trying new products.
I love the way this makes my skin feel. It's refreshing and cooling and leaves my face smooth and extra clean. I just put the toner on a cotton round and wipe my intire face avoiding the eye area.

Treat
So now were all cleansed and toned. Before you Moisturize you want to treat your skin. There are over a million products to choose from so depending on your skin conserns that will determine how you will treat your skin. For me, I'm always looking to make my skin look flawless and I look for products to controle my oily skin.
Don't forget about your eyes:
I always use some type of eyecream.  At this time I'm using  Phylosophy Full of promise it's double sided, one for under the eye and the other end is for the eye lid. Make sure you read how to use the products as most eyecream a should not be used on the lid unless otherwise stated. Always use your ring finger to apply anything under your eye as that areas is thin and delicate.
After applying the eyecream I apply some type of strum and at the moment I'm using Meaningful Beauty by Cindy Crawford. This you only use once a day so I use this at night. (My skin loves this).

Moisturize

The last step is your moisturizer. Before I started on my clinique routine I was only using the seaweed night moisturizer my Mario Basescu. Now I still use this moisturizer but now after I apply the dramatically different moisturizing gel I also apply the MB last. Do I need both probably not put it's not pore clogging and it's oil free so why not. When I run out of the seaweed night cream. I'll just use the Clinique moisturizing gel. I'm sure it will be just fine.

So. That's my Night time skin routine. Let's talk about out daytime Skincare.

Daytime

As you can see new products are replacing some of my night time products. I still Cleanse, Tone,Treat, and Moisturize.

Cleanse

So. In the A.M. I use the Clinique liquid facial soap for oily skin. If course with my awesome Clarisonic. This is a clean, fresh, and tingly cleanser. I can say I've never had a cleanser that feels like this. It's cooling and I just love it. It leaves that fresh clean feeling.

Tone

After I cleanse I still use the same toner.

Treat

So..The products I use to "treat" my skin in the daytime is more for controlling oil and sun protection. I use the eyecream just the same as night time. To controle my oil I've been using the Phylosophy Totalmatteness. I pat it into my skin until it's dry. The final step is a moisturizer I apply the dramatically different moisturizing gel and then my SPF moisturizer by MURAD. It's not shown because I only have a sample. It's the mattifying moisturizer with SPF 15. I live for this moisturizer.

This concludes my step by step skin routine. I hope you guys enjoyed this. Check out my social networks:

Skincare tips: Do you use a toner?

So in the beginning of the week I ran out of my normal toner with is the T.N.Dickinson's original witch hazel. I usually get it from Walmart or Target. Walgreens was the closest to me to I went in to look for my witch hazel. They did not have the one I usually get. They only had this one (shown above) in the yellow packaging. I would only see this on line not in Walmart or Target. I also noticed there where two different ones. One for oily skin (which is what I got) and they had one for large pores. I'll probably get that one next time.
I use this as a toner after my cleanser. It's refreshing and my skin loves it.
I notice my skin gets oily real fast if I don't use a toner. As far as this one being for oily skin. I don't notice a difference from the original one but I'll keep using it and see what happens over time.
If you have normal to dry skin. The original one will be best for your skin. As it will help balance out the moisture needed if your too dry. Always apply a moisturizer after. SPF in the day and night cream at night.

This is the original witch hazel I have been using for the past few years. It's a little over $3 and the one above was a little over $5 so it's about a two dollar difference between the two. Eather way, I couldn't go without it in my Skincare routine.
I hope you guys can take something from this. I hope you can add this to your Skincare routine.

All about BBCream!!!!

Hi guys!

The biggest question!  What is BBCream? BB stands for Beauty Balm. Or Blemish Balm. Most are All-in-1
Tinted moisturizer
Sunscreen
Primer
Foundation

It can even be anti-aging. It can be worn alone or under a foundation as a primer. Depending on the consistency. I have both highend BBcream and lowend. I find the the more inexpensive bbcream a are lighter in texture and has a sheere coverage. The more expensive ones tend to be thicker or heavier.

Below are pics of the 5 bb creams I own and swatches in the same order.
Left to right:
AJCrimson
IMAN
Tarte
Maybelline
Smashbox

Let me know what your favorite BBcream is. Until next week!!!

Review on the Lorac Glogetter palette!

Hi all,
So about two weeks ago I told you guys I got this Lorac palette from ULTA. It's was $20 and well worth every penny. I used some of the colors without a base and some with a base. I found when I used a base it kept the shadow on longer. I use all the colors as you maybe able to see in the photo. If you follow me on Instagram and keek you already know. For those readers that don't follow me. What are you waiting for? @makeupbyladwina

I used the brown color all the way on the left for my crease color. It's the perfect redish brow color that blends with any eyeshadow color.
Now I need to get my life together and get the Lorac Pro palette. I'm so loving the pigment of there eyeshadow.
I hope you guys Enjoyed this mini review. If you get a chance. Go get some shadows by Lorac. You'll love them!!!

Talk to you guys soon!!

First thoughts on the Lorac Glogetter palette!

Hi all!! Long time no talk. I won't take up too much time I just wanted to share my first thoughts with you guys.

This palette caught my eye inUlta yesterday because the colors alone are fantastic. They floored me and I just had to have it. I wasn't sure about the quality but I figured the price was rite at $20 for 10 "highend" eyeshadows.

If you follow me on Instagram and Keek then you already know but for those of you you don't. Ill share the love with you.

I first started with the crease color and I used the brown matte shadow to help transition and blend other eyeshadows. Usually (mostly always) I use an eyeshadow from M.A.C. This is the first time I used all colors from one single palette. Usually the colors are too dark or too ashy! This one is perfect. Then on the lid I used the very pretty bluish/purple shadow and as. Highlight I used the shimmery shadow at the bottom rite of the palette. Know I'm waiting to see how it last. Ill keep you guys posted. With more look from this palette. I'm determined to use all the colors.

Below are photos of the look I did today. Enjoy!!
