My Natural Hair Show experience!!

Youtube guru's Meechy and Vaughn Monroe where speakers and the whole experience was awesome. I met up with my Mom and Aunt. There were raffles also which my Mom and Aunt won (alot). Awesome giveaways from Carol's Daughter, Denman, Sigmas a much more.

Overall like I said it was a great experience. I look forward for the next one. Here are some pictures of the event. It was a two day event and I went on that Sunday. :-) Hope you enjoy!!

Face Mask/Skin care

Hello Loves!! Today I just want to share parts of my skin are routine. Along with cleansing my face twice daily, I also incorporate a mask a couple times a week as well.

At night I use the "Orange Tonic Mask" by Mario Badescu. It's for oily skin types and it's a refreshing tightening mask to help minimize the appearance of large pores and absorbs surface oils and debris. I use it 2-3 times a week. I do notice a difference in my skin when I use it. I love it.

I also love to use AHAVA "Time To Clear" purifying Mud mask. This is the mask I use in the morning. It deeply clarifies and purifies the skin. I use it 2-3 times a week as well. It provides renewed freshness and smoother complexion.

I have been using these products for a few months now and I highly recommend them. Especially if you have oily skin!!

Hair update!!

Hey guys. Just wanted to update you guys on the Redken "fresh curls" conditioner.
In this picture it shows my hair after I co washed it. It leaves my hair soft, and I love how it defines my curls.
If you co wash your hair and it'd curly, I highly recommend this conditioner. It's on the pricy side so I would suggest stocking up on it when the liters go on sale at Ulta for $14.99 ❤❤❤
I'll keep you posted on more products I use on my hair. As I am still trying things out!!

Conditioners for curly hair

Hi guys. Hope you had a great weekend. I know I don't talk about my hair. But recently Ive been on the hunt for good products I can use. I usually co-wash (wash with conditioner) my hair with any random conditioner that's for hydration. The last product I used was the Giovonni conditioner. I picked up a liter bottle from Marshalls. It was only $12.99 That was a few months ago so I new it was time for me to start looking for more deals. It was a good conditioner and gave me good moisture.

Ulta has there professional brand liter conditioners for $14.99 These conditioners range from $23-$50 so I had to take advantage and grab a few for curly hair. I got AG (curl) curl activation conditioner, Matrix total results (Curl anti-frizz nurti-curl technology), Bed Head Hi-def curls conditioner, and Redken (fresh curls) conditioner.

Redken is the first conditioner I have been using and I love it! When I'm done rinsing my hair, I notice how refined and soft my curls are. Love it......Ill keep you guys posted when I'm done with this bottle and on to the next....If you guys are interested. Check one out. I would love to know your thoughts. Smashbox BBCream (Review)

About a month or two ago I bought the BBCream by Smashbox. Its te newest thing in makeup these days. If you don't know or have not heard of BB cream. Ill give you a little back ground.

BBCream stand for Blemish Balm or Blemish Base. It began mainly in East & Southeast Asia. It was originally formulated in Gernmany by a dermatologist named Dr. Christine Schrammek in thge 1950's It was initially used to protect skin after laser procedures and surgery while alos providing light coverage.

BBCreams come in a variety of different formulation and qulities maily perceived as being anti-inglammatory and haveing a soothing effect. In my opinion this BBcream is gream for its multil tasking all in one properties such as -Moisturizer, primer, foundation, and sunblock. It retails for about $40 and I think its well worth it. you ony need a little and it goes a long way.
This is the only BB cream I have used because this is the only shade that comes in Dark that I know of. I really recomend this product and would love for you to share your thoughts. Hope you enjoyed this review.

F.O.T.D. Summer Orange/eyes and lips

Hi guys. This look is inspired by one of my makeup sisters MsCreativeDiva. I love her looks and she is very inspiering. I listed all the products I used to acheive this look. I hope you enjoy.

Makeup Show Chicago Haul and swatches

Hi guys. So I couldn't wait to share my first experience ant the Makeup Show. This is the 2nd here that its been here in Chicago. I didn't get to go last year so I made sure I was ready this year. I didn't care if I didn't buy anything at all.. I just wanted to be there.

In a previous post I shared the goodie bag I received and now I'm going to show you swatched from that goodie bag. Yesterday (Monday) was the last day and that was the day I chose to go. (Sunday was Fathers Day so that was a family day) I was able to purchase a few things, so those are the swatches Ill be showing as well.

I went with Makeup artist, Esthetician, Beauty Blogger and good friend. Rachel Odem She's like a mentor to me. I learn so much from her. She's the best. Hope you guys enjoy this haul and swatched. I'm so excited to start playing with them and see what looks I come up with.
